Educational Quality Assurance Enhancement Directorate
Overview
The Educational Quality Assurance and Enhancement Directorate (EQAED) at Gambella University is the institution's central coordinating body for all quality assurance and enhancement activities. Established in alignment with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Education and Training Authority (FDRE-ETA) standards, the Directorate uses evidence-based, data-driven methods to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve academic programmes, institutional processes, and student outcomes across all six colleges and faculties of the university.
EQIMS is the digital instrument through which EQAED operates day to day. It is the single source of truth for the internal academic quality audit cycle and the foundation for the upcoming monitoring, evaluation, and stakeholder-feedback modules.
